Pro Helvetia supports CERN & Society Foundation
COLLIDE Pro Helvetia is a Swiss Residency Award made by CERN in cooperation with Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, under the auspices of the CERN & Society Foundation. The Award was launched for the first time in 2014 and gives the opportunity to Swiss artists to carry out artistic research in the field of art, science and technology inspired by the world of particle physics in intense dialog with the scientists of CERN.
COLLIDE Pro Helvetia alternates each year with COLLIDE Geneva, having an open call for Swiss artists one year, followed by an open call for Geneva artists the following year.
In November, Pro Helvetia renewed their support for two more years, collaborating with CERN in two residency awards that will take place in 2016-17 and 2017-18. The call for the COLLIDE Pro Helvetia Residency Award 2016/2017 is now open.
